French apples cooked in caramel sit on a Breton sablé biscuit in this individual tarte Tatin, together with a caramelised apple filling and a salted butter caramel made with Guérande sea salt. Marie Morin makes it without artificial flavours or thickeners.

A classic of French pâtisserie, it only needs gentle warming: turn it out onto a plate and serve it warm.
