Distribution of Greco Feta on the German market began back in 1985.  At that time, Greco was the first original Greek feta available in 200g retail packs,a segment which today turns over several thousand tons in Germany alone. Step by step, Greco also came to be distributed outside Germany. Today you can find Greco feta in more than 30 countries worldwide.

In addition to the well-known Greco brand, S.H.M. Hellas – Pilion S.A. today produces own brands for many renowned European retailers. Other original Greek specialities from sheep’s and goat’s milk have been introduced internationally in recent years under the Greco label. For example, Greco Saganaki – a baked feta cheese – or Greco yogurt made from 100% fresh sheep’s milk.
